    I have a rule clarification question since I might have screwed myself…

    The rules say you can leave from a hostile sea zone to end in a friendly one during combat move.  (Like you did with your transports in SZ6)  It also says you can do that if it’s a friendly sea zone that could become hostile through a scramble caused by an amphibious assault.  However it doesn’t cover if it could become hostile through kamikaze strike caused by an amphibious assault.

    So basically I want know if I can move out my boats, especially the carrier with the 2 UK fighters, to a friendly sea zone during combat move to avoid losing the whole thing to kamikaze strikes if I do an amphibious assault from SZ19. (Since UK planes would be cargo and would be a huge loss)

    Has this come up for you before?  Feels like the spirit of the rules are to be able to avoid combat in the sea zone you started in if you desire to… it seems to cover all cases except this one.

    I tried to search the forums to see if others have asked but the search function seems broken right now.

    Thoughts?
