Nice rolls last turn - I took a beating, especially in Asia.
I really wanted to throw my Italian fleet and airforce at your UK fleet in the Med to try clearing the Med for my +5 IPCs, but 55% to win is risky and assuming it leaves me without a Navy, you could move in from Gibraltar and blockade me and I wouldn’t be able to stop it, so I wouldn’t really be getting anything out of it. But I seriously thought about it.
I ended up taking Syria, because the Luftwaffe can get down there with a 98% win chance, then land in Syria, and head back up to the Russian front (or clear the middle east) the following turn. I was supposed to be using my transports to get my troops out of Africa, but you blocked that, so I want to get something out of them.
Well, you had reserve navies, and that giant carrier mess that I didn’t want anything to do with. Let me knock out my turn. =D

I’m attacking your subs in 125 and 114, but have no destroyers, so I assume you’re just submerging instead of defending with a 1, but figured I should ask.
I’m not sure if I get a free shot with my subs before your subs submerge or not; I’m assuming so, which is why my sub is attacking your sub.
Well, I rolled out SZ125 and got a hit on your sub, which I had ordered to submerge, and your sub is still there, so I’m guessing that’s now how sub combat works.

The air force battle scared me, but it went surprisingly well - my western front rolled as well as your eastern defense (or counterattack) -
So Germany is rising and Japan is flailing - which I haven’t seen in any of my games yet; Germany and Italy usually do whatever while Japan goes and gets its 6 VCs and ends the game.
Geez im beginning to hate the internal dice roller.
Only 2 hits with my fleet in the med is just insane really.You would expect 3-4 hits the first round alone.

It went better than I was hoping - no lucky one-off defense rolls against Japan except the expected casualty in Yunnan. As always, I’m curious to know what you would have done differently and why to help me learn. :)

Well, I figured I should start the march west with Japan, so wanted to make landfall up there, and if I took Manchuria, you’d take it back and I’d be down another infantry or two - and my Japan planes couldn’t reach Manchuria and make it home, where I was trying to leave three planes in scramble range.

You asked me what i would have done different, well that i would have taken machuria back before the chinese would get the money or could reinforce it ( yes i could have 4 chinese dudes there now ) just 2 inf 2 bombers vs 1 inf should be enough.
hit the the UK in borneo, and burma so they are no longer a factor.
And take yunnan like you did so that china also is nearly gone.
I didn’t even think of trying for Burma and Yunnan both. Were the odds in favor of the attacker?
