They do not. The printed value on the territories apply only when/if Germany captures them in which case the Allies must decide who pays Germany that number of IPCs. The relevant rule is on page 19/20 of the Europe rulebook.

Specifically, the “note” on page 20 reads, “The loss of Middle Eastern countries does not lower the Allied players’ income on the chart.”

The Middle East is strictly a liability to the Allies in this game.

@Conni_Hu Because you asked for a non-specific answer:

Overview: You need to make a beeline for Moscow ASAP, but also make sure to scoop up Leningrad along the way, as it is the main point the Western Allies will attempt to land in to reinforce the Soviets. Making any effort to attack southern Russia or North Africa (beyond just using the units you began the game with in those areas) is ill-advised, as capturing Moscow will effectively end the game due to the USSR no longer being able to collect income or field an army.

Round 1: Attack East Poland and Baltic States with everything that can reach. More should go to Baltic States.
Round 2: Attack Belorussia and Leningrad with everything that can reach. Most of your troops should go to Belorussia.
Round 3: Attack Moscow with everything that can reach.

What you do in other areas of the map is outside of the scope of your question, but you should be taking steps to slow down the USA/UK Navies.

I love europe advanced. I created a NATO vs USSR version out of this map and it was real interesting. Also I made a D-Day and 1942 version from it too. Now that I think about it, I should make a 1939 one!

Few questions about this: The Sahara province, can it be used, or what? Also whats the C planes? Are they like the patrols in AAP? Does anyone have an official rules for this, or is it perty much played out like the other AAE?

If you add a 1939 version, you would need to think about whether you are adding Poland or just France, in which case 1940 would be more appropriate.

As for the Sahare, that should be viewed as impassable, which is what it is, even today.  I am not sure what you mean about “C Planes”.  As for the rules, they are on the website along with the map, and are to be used in combination with the official out-of-box rules.

I should buy the Revised first too if I were you. It’s just the best version there is, although I have to admit that Europe is great one too.
Perhaps you could buy them both, in that way you don’t to make a choice :-D

Europe is a smaller scaled land based game. Lots of small provinces. Pacific’s scale is considerably bigger and deals primarily with naval and air power.

I personally enjoy Pacific a lot. It has more strategy than Europe in my opinion. Both are great though.

i dont think the axis has that much of an advantage in Europe. germany can be overwhelmed quickly if usa and britain get into the game early. as for pacific, i think japan starts out a little to beast as far as military goes. the aussie and american navies have to quickly take out japans navy to start taking the islands. india also provides an important chokepoint as well for japan that can be annoying for the allied player.
