I’ve attached the saved game as I couldn’t post. I’m waiting for the official download of the new build before trying it and I also want to make sure that updating won’t the ability to play current games (I assume it doesn’t but want to be sure).

Thought I should get your OOL for this combat. I also assumed that you would rather take the sub as a casualty then submerge it. We can fix that after if you would prefer to keep it alive.
And I downloaded the file to and it now seems to be working.

This is right choice to me too. For the 5 hits, take 1 sub, 1 Germany carrierX2, and 2 destroyer.

One problem now is that I can’t take the sub because only the fighters were rolling and there is no destroyer present. The Cruiser rolls after and if I hit I would assume you would take the sub off then.

In this case…tough call…
Please take Italy strategic bomber out. Trying to maximize defense -
the save game is taking a while to upload. So I figured I would post while I am waiting. The cruiser hit and I took out your sub. You hit 6 times leaving me with 6 fighters. My next round I hit twice. A max defense that conserves a loaded carrier would mean taking out a fighter and the cruiser.
