It’s not Axis and Allies but uses similar mechanics.

Edit
Here’s a list of all triplea maps. Might be something in there. The above Global War isn’t available.
is this sight/forum for the A&A boardgame or the A&A CDR???
Both
oh ok. I am about to get A&A the boardgame, and am wondering which one is better- A&A (original), Pacific, or Europe?
Everyone who has played them has an opinion, this is mine:
1)Axis & Allies World at War Expansion
2)Axis & Allies Original
3)A&A Pacific
4)A&A Europe
im dumb

This is my opinion
A&AE
A&AP
A&A original
A&A W@W - any game that makes you refer to the rules every 10 minutes is a little to player unfriendly.
What is different about the Iron Blitz edition for the PC from the regular PC game?
destroyers - attack at 2, defend at 2, move 2, cost 8
marines - amphibious attack at 3, defend at 2, attack at 1 (non-amph), cost 5, ride 2/trn
also there are other scenarios etc. and a map editor (i believe)
The map editor is what really makes this game worthwhile.
Too bad the original game doesnt have a map editor. What does the map editor do? Can you change the powers involved in the game too? For example, can you make an Italy?
Change forces in a country.
No, you cannot create another force!
You can alter the strengths of the pieces for individual forces(+ German FTR defense, for example.)
1.A&A
2a.A&AP
2b.A&AE
3.CD
4.expansions/varaints
My list would be the same. Though I not sure what GeZe means by “expansion.” A&A Variants maybe?
I edit :)
