    You are aware that this casualty choice does not make any sense? Drejemester damage the carrier so the 2 planes crashed. The obvious casualty choice would have been to take the DD or CC off to avoid the carriers to crash.

    Did you overlook this? And are you both aware that the casualty choice is made by the defender, not the attacker?

    Hey Tobias, thanks for noticing :) Drejemester is new to the game, we know eachother IRL and it was an honest mistake - I believe he was probably high or something - though it looks very suspect :lol: We will start the game over from Italy’s turn, thanks again  :-)

    You are welcome. But out of curiosity: Don’t you guys ask for casualty choice?
    in the second run, the casualty choice was again not bad for the defender. Again Drejemester took casualties in a way that both fighters crash if he retreats.
    When facing 3 hits the clearly better casualty choice for UK is to either tip carrier and take DD and Fighter off, or to even tip the carrier and take both fighters off (which would have been my choice)

    If Italy retreats after the first round, UK has 3 boats left and not just one:)

    The questions whether to take 1 fig off or both depends on how painful you want to make a second round for the Italians.

    But as said, leaving the cruiser and the 2 figs is objectively the worst of the options.

    @Drejemester: Just for the future another piece of advice. Don’t ever spare the Chinese at Yunnan in Round 1. Attacking Yunnan with 2 bombers, fig, tac and 3-4 ground is a must for Japan in case they do not DOW round 1. Giving the Chinese arty just for nothing is always bad. And in case the Russians send 2 air there, do not care, just KILL them :)

    He did ask me for casualty choice, you never know how the dices will land, at the time it made sense to me, at least I got his navy.
