The sea battles I setup for this game are ok to scramble IMHO. Especially if you’re going to go after Germany First. Obviously you preference a KJF. Also, part of the reason why I started buying 2 replenishment planes G1 is just in case the UK scrambles.
If I do a 6 artillery/2 inf G1 purchase, I now go to max plane protection attack, ie. Bismark to SZ110, ect. I’ve been scrambled before and hurt latley.

After a devastating G1; I thought it would be impolite of me to keep the US out of the war :)
Hong Kong and Philippines defended well; ugg, it will keep Japan from getting that NO island money it needs on a J1 attack.
But Germany is going to rage in this game…I can feel it :)
On the UK’s turn, I will need to take a look to scramble or not for the Taranto raid (SZ97) if you do it.
I hope I will be able to contain Germany… Will see if I can more success than last game :)
