I’m going to roll the Moscow battle next turn. My hand is forced since you did a good job of getting Russia all of that extra NO money. I can’t afford to wait till like round 12ish since the US can pretty much go Atlantic now. I made a few mistakes early game with Italy when it had a chance to be a problem for the UK.
In a Moscow scenario where both sides get fair dice, Germany will have to take air hits to keep 1 tank for the capital capture. Just winning in a fair dice situation doesn’t mean Germany can make it to Cairo. I’ve won post-Moscow games as the Allies and lost a few (most concede the game not realizing they could win).
If you get something out of the ordinary like 6/15 dice roll 1s for AAA (or better), then you’ll have a good chance of actually defending and then I’ll concede the game of course. Average dice I think is 2.5 or 2-3 plane hits.

I figure you would go to Moscow next turn, like you mentioned because I have applied good pressure to Japan and success with Russia to keep extra income… I know you have very good odds to take it, but I hope to get some plane early on with the extra AA I bought. If you win with 1-3 tanks left, I think it would be manageable for the allies but if you end up with 20 tanks it might get a little difficult and complicated for me ;)
The reason, if you win Moscow, that the game is not over is because Japan is stalled, if it was not, well I would have been in deep trouble, it’s part of my strat, sometimes it pays off sometimes it doesn’t.

86% odds aren’t very good for Germany when it’s going to have to take plane hits anyways just to keep 1 ground unit for the capture.

Good game ! You are right 86% odds are not the reals odds with so many planes after all, 3 hits AA helped me for sure but 49 hits 1st round sure does help!
Russia sure did profit of mistakes of Italy, I mean I got the two extra territories in Africa which really helped me to build a very good defensive stack + help with UK.
Sometimes no pressure of USA in Europe can be deadly for Russia and is a gamble for sure. This game it worked and I might be just sending more bombers early on if no sealion by GER!
