Nah, I set all that up on purpose. My only real hope was that you’d have a really bad first round of combat and retreat, giving me time to further strengthen my defenses. Holding India was a similar position - my hope was that you’d lose a bunch of USA forces on the initial attack, and my defense would remain strong enough to repel the Brits.
THEN I could have really changed the direction of battle, somehow. Not sure exactly how, but hopefully something would come to mind. Your fleets were just so strong! I think taking India early was a bad call on my part. It gave you too much time to build with the USA.

I thought the India thing was sound. JWW has done the same. I was surprised, however; that you pulled all your troops out and back into China, rather than moving West towards the ME. I like the  US Atlantic backwards and forth thing. The Pacific is so scary though.

I really, really, wanted to take the middle east, but your Pacific fleet was too strong for me to risk it. I’d hve to give up any chance of ever winning with Japan to do it, since I didn’t have the firepower to sink your fleet.
That is what I thought happened some times: Japan held on and Germany won. I would not have gone West either , but faced the US. Because I have to!
