I think a good idea for 1914 would be to require at least 1 infantry to be stationed in every territory by the end of a power’s turn (the infantry must be from the power controlling. If they don’t, they won’t get the IPCs from this territory. Not only does it potentially make the game more historically accurate (to symbolize the need to keep civilian populations under control during wartime), but it probably also makes the game more balanced, as the Allies will probably be more burdened with this (since they have substantially larger colonial possessions).
ARMORED CAR
-
Everyone knows about the tank stats. C/M/A/D 6/2/3/3 It can blitz, and mechanize infantry can blitz with it. But now we introduce a new unit the armored car.
ARMORED CAR STATS: C/M/A/D 2/2/1/1
PROS: It can blitz, and it is cheap.
CONS: Mechanize infantry can’t blitz with it, and it’s weak.People, what are your views on the armored car??? Why would you buy it, and why wouldn’t you buy it.
-
I would make it part of a new recon class of vehicles and give it some special ability to help the units it attacks with.
-
Armored car would be cool but I picture Mech Infantry basically a unit of half tracks and armored cars.
-
Ya but VANN DAM is saying this is part of the huge change towards AA forever.
-
The problem is the A/D of the armored car, so it’s equal to infantry in attack but weaker on defense when armored cars would have more firepower than infantry.

SS, the community is not worthy of that trolls’ formula. Hopefully its not released…I fear the repercussions.

I know. Done replying.

Our House rule is if an Armored Car is Paired up with an Artillery, 1 to 1, then the Artillery gets first strike ability. Armored Car is doing recon for the Artillery.

The cost is wrong. At 2 IPCs each, there is very little reason to buy anything else. Hit points ate a huge deal. New World Order prices your unit at 3.5 IPCs, which sounds about right.
