So, as I said, the changes are minor in the extreme. How would you like to proceed?
-
I have a thought, tho. How about if we play 2.0 and we switch sides? I’m happy to be Allies in 2.0. I’d just have to find the file for it.
And if I haven’t said so directly, I apologize. I never intended to mislead you about this.
-
let me think about it for a day. The game is interesting
However, when I state that I will play 2nd ed (with a bid) or BM 2 I think you need to notify me that you choose BM3
BM2 is probably slightly tipped to allies and I think BM 3 is tipped to axis (based on objectives). No need for the new Iwo Okinava f. ex (besides the point)
If we choose side on equal standing (as I feel we did not) then there is no need for a bid. Will you take axis in BM2 without a bid?
-
No, I will not take Axis in BM2 with no bid. Typically I see bids for that.
BM3 is better in every way. Truthfully, I have no interest in playing other games.
If you want to be butthurt about this, that’s your right. I honestly don’t care.
-
I will look into it a little more tonight. I guess I should have noticed before, especially during Japan. However, I did not even consider you would choose BM3 since I said what I did (which I actually can prove).
Butthurt? Please dont humiliate yourself with such crap. You did the error (on purpose?), not me.
-
Honestly I think this is pretty easy. The key point is that I would not agree to play BM3. Therefore there are two options
1. Start a new game with BM2 (kind of interesting that you offer me the axis in BM2, but won’t take them yourself without a bid?) and bid for Axis
2. Continue this game as BM2 and edit the objectives as we proceed.Your choice!

<sigh>you guys seemed to be doing fine through reply #35 when Shin Ji unfortunately attacked out of frustration
Oysteilo absolutely does not have to play this BM3 game because he thought he was playing BM2
Shin Ji inadvertently started BM3 without realizing it.
You’re both innocent and there is a simple solution since you’re not far into this game. I do not know who was getting lucky or how the game was going but that is irrelevant. You need to start over with a BM2 game. I don’t want you to fight over the bid or starting conditions, so in my next post I will set a fair bid for you.
I also think you should wait however long until you’ve calmed down. You guys were getting along great until reply #35 and I hope you can forget about what was said after that. You’re both good guys</sigh>

Well, I’d rather you bid for it yourselves, so do that when you’ve calmed down. Try to reset your opinion of each other - you were getting along fine before.
Please start a new game thread for it. Wait to start until you’re not feeling very irritated. Otherwise someone’s going to have to forfeit, but it shouldn’t have to come to that
-
I am fine by this, I am also fine by gamerman deciding the bid and deciding sides for us.
-
We’re going to give this a week or so and revisit the prospect of starting over with BM2 at that time.
If either player would rather not play at that point, then the best option is to coin flip RNG the winner of this game who will face JWW and of course there will be no official result, and even the playoff bracket will reflect that this game was not played. You are both valuable to the other league players and of course I want to resolve this in a way that is best for all
