What do you think about this way to play allies?
I plaid so many games with my playgroup and we quite never understood why everyone online complained so much regarding balance.
(I do spy on top players)We have looked at the balance mod. Our thoughts is that it had some nasty exploits in china and gives allies big advantage.
I personaly think allies with a bid of 12-18 is about right :-)

I like your Russian support to China opening but I think it might harm you late game as Germany pushes forward toward Moscow. We will see. As for balance, this version is definitely tipped towards the axis when you are talking about the top players going against each other. The axis can gain such and economic and strategic position early that it is very difficult to overcome if playing with the vicotry city conditions. Now this is among the top axis players in the league, which I am certainly not one of. But I have found that I will not take the allies without a +30 bid. Most people do a J1 attack and it is pretty devistating, I dont usually use that strategy because I haven’t mastered it yet but it is very hard to counter in this version. I like the balance mod version which is a very misleading title since it actually tips the game back into the allies favor by just a little bit. I think the Chinese Inf that pop-up is a bad rule and that there are probaly 1-2 too many NO in the Med for the allies. But overall I like it, especially if you enjoy playing as the allies. I love the new marine unit! Also nice perfect allied turn! No casualites for you!
