  • I choose not to intercept so……the bmbs and tac go to their targets. Let’s say the two bmbs go to the IC and the tac goes to the naval base. Triple A will roll three dice at 1 for the three attacking aircraft all at once. If a one is rolled, players will typically choose the tac as the casualty but this is wrong. Each complex or base should roll independently. In the example above the IC would roll two dice and if a one is rolled a bomber is destroyed. Then the dice for the naval bases AA is rolled. These are the OOB rules and are something that triple a doesn’t do correctly. I believe this is notated in the rules section in triple a. Feel free to ask someone else or check the rules tab in the game. Players will typically declare, “the first aa dice rolls are always for bombers” or something similar. In this fashion players can’t send a tac on a bombing run in order to protect bombers. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions

    I choose not to intercept so……the bmbs and tac go to their targets. Let’s say the two bmbs go to the IC and the tac goes to the naval base. Triple A will roll three dice at 1 for the three attacking aircraft all at once. If a one is rolled, players will typically choose the tac as the casualty but this is wrong. Each complex or base should roll independently. In the example above the IC would roll two dice and if a one is rolled a bomber is destroyed. Then the dice for the naval bases AA is rolled. These are the OOB rules and are something that triple a doesn’t do correctly. I believe this is notated in the rules section in triple a. Feel free to ask someone else or check the rules tab in the game. Players will typically declare, “the first aa dice rolls are always for bombers” or something similar. In this fashion players can’t send a tac on a bombing run in order to protect bombers. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions

    So if i have 2 bombers and say 2 tacts… bomb raid a capital

    tacs job to begin with are to escort, so if AA hit then i would loose them. But if they get through do I just cancel when it brings them up the option to hit a IC or airbase if the option shows, for the tacts that is.

    and also, i need to declare what im bombing to begin with, the game should just remove the ability of the tacts if they get through if you ask me. Seems logical.

    The raid i did have, i lost both the tac and fighter because i could not land since you took Burma. Its all good, im learning  :-D

    I need to apologize. It appears that a fix has been done to triple a which remedied the error I spoke of. If I looked closely I would have noticed that each facility now rolls AA fire independently. Sorry I didn’t realize that this had been corrected. I never use Tac’s as escorts and rarely to bomb. You were doing everything absolutely correct!
