    since you remov your destroyer round 1 I kind of matters. In round 2 you have 3 3s and score one hit, maybe it is the cruiser that hits?

  • OK. I think this has progessed rather normal so far. Again you are HYPER agressive compared to most players and I think you are rewarded hugely for that. I have checked my recent games after round one and in most cases allies are 380 - 420 in advantage in total unit value. You on the other hand is at 480. I think I have made pretty much standard moves so far and fairly agressive as well without making any huge blunders. I think you do the right thing!

    But as an example you are 75% in italy sz, if you loose that battle you are toast, you are engaging in so many battles where you single handed are supposed to win, but in sum you end up winning all of them more or less massively!

    I NEVER blaim dice, dice is what it is, but I think you are LUCKY so far!

  • I think taranto is 75%, but no biggie, if you add the % you are are 39% to win all battles. Yes, you win them, but none go badly for you, that is my point. Then we are at 5 or 10% I think


  • That UK1 rolls looked relatively close to average.  Scrambling to SZ97 is always so much luck, either good or bad.  When the scramble works, UK is left with no fleet and Egypt might fall on I2 or I3; that might be the end of the game.  When the scramble doesn’t work, Germany has to lose a couple of planes to clean up the mess.  Italy is down a couple of planes, but how that isn’t the worst thing in the world.  None of the luck so far this game seems too far out of the normal range one way or another.

    I do love the Cow J1 gameplan.  When it works, UK is in big trouble:

    ShadowHAwk, you are an extremely aggressive player.  Doing both Tobruk and SZ97 in a no-bid game can be very risky as you have encountered against Colt.  I peronally don’t mind your ambitious attacks since the odds over hundreds of small battles have to tend towards average.  I can do well in the long run, but in the short term it can be very challenging to figure out how to attack so many spaces with a limited number of planes.

    Thing with dice games is that they can always roll against your or for you no mather what the odds are, i lost a 90% odds battle against you and colt. Against Colt my odds where better as in i did only Tobruk and had even higher odds. I dont do suicide battles with below 50% chance of success unless they are ment to be strafe attacks and someone else mops up the remainder ( as seen VS cold and the japan fleet )
    Im not agressive as the allies i take whatever is given to me to slow down the axis, he donated 1 transport ( always good ) i could get away with taking 1 island back and destroying some land forces that slows down japan.

    i just checked another game and it seems like there is an issue there as well. Nice subhit in sz 54 btw. But is not deceisive I think. Shan on the other hand is risky business, but that went OK for me as well
