Blitzing & Amphibious landings

For beginners, I’ve always liked A&A Europe the original.  It’s out of print, but still obtainable.  There’s even a copy for $25 on BBG!

It’s easy to play, dramatic, and not too long. It teaches the basics of game play without getting too bogged down in technical rules.

Aircraft Carriers
Although they don’t have an attack value and aren’t
represented on the battle strip, carriers can still participate
in an attack and can take hits, as long at least 1 unit with
an attack value attacks along with them. Any fighters or
tactical bombers on an aircraft carrier launch before the
carrier moves and move independently of the carrier.
These air units can make a combat move from the carrier’s
initial sea zone, or they can remain in that sea zone until
the Noncombat Move phase.

I took my 1999 Europe, 2001 Pacific, 2004 Revised, 1942, 1942 2nd edition, and 1941 and put them into Artbins. Like you, I left specific campaign, global, and AA50th in their boxes.

There is no special rules for multi player game touranments, you’d just have to find enough people.
