  • i feel that your advice has me going in the rite
    direction but theres some spots i have to work on.

    i think the main mistake, which I’ve done myself before, was not going after France immediately. It’s too tempting to spend elsewhere when you start with so much. However, as you’ve seen, the Allies can really tighten it up fast if you give them the opportunity.

    Germany needs an “all-in” purchase the first round, of which everything goes after Paris. Tanks, armored cars. Then do a judgement round 2 if France/Britain put up enough of a fight that you need some mechs or planes to even the odds.

    Past turn 2, then it’s all out against Russia. You’re doing well against Russia, and Yamamoto has made progress against the US, but with that additional 50 French dollars, my hope is that Italy won’t be able to capitalize on their MED victory over the British fleet.

    Go ahead and set up the new game! Might have been different had you taken Stalingrad, but not by much.

    I’m okay with being the Allies again. Helps me think of new strats.

    So to summarize the lessons: Germany must go after France with Round 1 and possibly 2 purchases.  Make Egypt a priority for Italy, and I’m less sure of what to do with Japan. Take factories first, Philippines and Borneo. Better if Yam gets the island factories. Make Hisachi focus on Russia/China/India. I’m not sure the best way to advance on one while holding the line on the other two.
