sorry, another rules question…should Mongolia still activate? I thought since you declared war on me and on all neutrals, that Mongolia just stayed neutral all game even if Japan invaded Russia? Is that the case or will Mongolia still activate when Japan invades? thanks

Mongolia only activates if attacked directly. There’s a special rule for this in the Soviet-Mongolian defence pact rules.

yes, I did (Timguska), but only because I thought Mongolia would just stay neutral…maybe because America attacked Korea first it didn’t trigger Russia as attacking Japan there, but since you moved your troops there I believe it should stop Mongolia from activating (this is the same idea as Germany having to be at War to go into Italian-owned territory if it’s in Russia)…so I can just edit them back to strict neutral since I believe that is what should be happening…agreed? or am I missing something here?

USSR reinforcing Korea doesn’t nullify Mongolia! There has to be an attack.
Perhaps just undo the battle?

that’s sort of BS though, it’s like how you used to be able to not declare war as Germany against Russia and just walk onto Italian territories in Russia but still get the bonus NO of trade with Russia…it feels like the exact same exploit

I’ve suggested that in BM a DOW by USSR against Japan would nullify the Mongolian rule instead of the Lend lease bonuses which only make sense for the Pacific NO and then that is debatable. This suggestion has not been accepted though.
