Gargantua (Allies) over Wittman (Axis) - Balance Mod.
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=40611.180Victory by Total Annihilation in Game Round 15.
Axis PU’s - 0
Axis Production - 0
Axis Units - 0
Axis TUV - 0
Axis VC - 0
Axis territories remaining on the board - 1 (Marianas)Respect to Wittman for digging in and refusing to surrender; until every last breath and life was spent
Jesus wept….

Best game (enjoyment wise) I have had in a long time . Really loved the defensive fighting,
for my life . Think I lost so emphatically, as I made the wrong decisions as Itaky amd Japan on T2. Garg was merciless and his moves often surprised me.
Garg knows I am grateful for the opportunities his superior play offered me, to think how to try and dig myself out of the hole in which I found myself. Really felt like a historical WW2 experience, which I also love.
Shame it is over! -
I could make two more forum posts if you like? and grab Marianas on USA 16? :)
-
I suppose I flipped the Neutrals pro-axis too haha and they survived!
-
Sloppy work Garg, just sloppy. Glad you did not play the Axis. This result would be considered as entire failure then!

You should do this, just so that a RECORD can be established for the number of rounds required for complete world domination. This would set the current record at what, 17 rounds? And that is against Wittmann, who is also a superior player near top of the league rankings.

I don’t mind.

Ahhhhh, Wheatbeer vs. Karl
It feels like old times…… :-) :-)tough game, the Pac was all in allied hands, except India, Russia had fallen and decisive battle was a showdown in Cairo. Allies had significant IPC lead, but couldn’t translate it into stopping Axis in time…
ooof, these are the hardest to lose!
