Its been over 3 weeks with no replay to multiple messages. I really wanted to finish this game. I think I could come close to winning both theatres.
Seriously, this is the usual pattern. Pherman appears at some time at the year, starts a bunch of games and the disappears, previously causing an avalanche in the rankings.
This is the 3rd season in a row that this happens. Although I am rally happy about every player that joins the league, Pherman became really annoying to me and I could consider excluding him from the league in case he leaves again a bunch of forfeits at the end of the season.
Next to not finishing games, his behavior is just unsportsmanlike. Regardless how busy you are, everybody has the chance to drop a quick note about what is going now. There is nothing wrong in interrupting games and resume than later. But disappearing without any notice is the poorest behavior to me.

I realized Pherman finished 21 games already this season, so I assume no avalanche to be expected. Still, I don’t get why people disappear with no notice.

It is unfortunate that after leaving and abandoning several games two years in a row, that people did not know it was risky to play him. At least this year it doesn’t look like he’ll drop a tier and screw up the rankings. Banning from the league is tricky business because a player can merely set up a new user account. Probably more effective management to let them remain known by their ID so more people can know what they’re dealing with?

Yeah, I know. And as I said, this year he finished a lot of games and no avalanche is being expected.
Still, I find this on/off really impolite.
