Adam is the fair winner of the best of 3 game this year.
Epic fight where Germany resigns on turn 40, with 11 factories under control from France to South Africa, Kwauntung and Indochina, including Moscow, India and Egypt.
I think we could have reached 50 turns, but it is true that from now an Axis defeat is just a matter of time.
Congrats to Adam for the great player and gent that he is, and the superb Balanced mode version of this great game created.
See you in the league play-off Adam… prepare yourself for more dificulties… you thought me a lot in these 3 games…
Happy summer everyone. I am out until september.

Great game you guys played. Juan, you played an impressive game during the first 10-15 turns and you were very close to overrun then Allies or to get an edge that would make time play for the Axis.
However, Adam managed to escape the choke hold and after he managed to get Japan down it was only a matter of time for the Allies to win.
I believe the last 15 turns just demonstrated that the inevitable will in fact happen if you drag it out. Still, very few games have been played that far on that level so I am still glad to see that the predictions came true, actually. Also, in a position of that complexity it is also valid to force the opponent to play error-free which Adam did.

Anything but at least 20 units (including air, one should not be scared of sending air over the AA) is in my opinion an unnecessary risk. Not only about winning or losing but about reducing the amount of survivors.

The above was a playoff game, btw.
Oh, and I think the standings are incorrect- Wittman beat JWW in the last game, and now Wittman and I are up next.
-
I had conceded , on account of my pending eye operations and visual problems. JWW, graciously, allowed me to take the time I needed to recuperate.
I never corrected you, Gamerman, as I expected to lose. (I was lucky. ) I am sorry I messed up your computing of results.

Thanks guys
Oops, I missed where JWW said it was a playoff game
No problem, will fix right away -
ROUND 1 of the Garg vs Karl7 battle for title of the greatest goes to Garg!
18 rounds of non-stop bloodbath! The Axis had a good start, but Garg deftly brought the extra BM income into play stymying the Axis advance.
In a last minute rally, the German’s managed to take Moscow, aided by Garg’s bad dice. But it was not enough. Japan was pushed out of the Pacific, and the USA was making 130+, filling the skies with bombers and death.
Now, time for round 2, Ding! Ding!
