That was my first crack at BM, and ironically, the longest. Not sure how much of an improvement BM is. A simple bid, or playing with no victory cities seems to me to be perfectly good ways of neutralizing the Axis advantage. Oh well, can’t say I hate it, either.
Why do I have 3 results for you playing BM? Â Did I get it wrong? Â Oh, this was first game started, but 4th game finished. Â Right?
Hmm, playing regular without victory cities. Fascinating. Don’t think I’ve ever considered that, oddly enough. Does sound good.
Exactly. I’ve played a few, but this one - my first one - dragged on longer than the others.
I’ve played no victory cities with a few other players. I like it. It has always been with smaller Allied bids, but I often wonder if a bid is even necessary if the US isn’t hamstrung by having to protect both Sydney and Honolulu at all costs.
