I went ahead with it as I don’t think it is critical. But I am not sure what the right thing is in this situation. My resoning for keep the destroyer is to make sure it gets to fire. The carrier can be sunk by the sub. In any case you have the right to protest if you want

I went ahead with it as I don’t think it is critical. But I am not sure what the right thing is in this situation. My resoning for keep the destroyer is to make sure it gets to fire. The carrier can be sunk by the sub. In any case you have the right to protest if you want
The downside is that air hits in the second round might be taken on subs instead of something more valuable. Of course, that assumes that subs survive into the second round.
