I have Anniversary Ed and Italy is not very fun to play. In 1942 Italy is very weak. In 1940 Ed Italy have a chance to conquest the Med… not in 1942…

Jet fighters is another matter altogether, not in AAE

I was talking ONLY about how it was done in that game, while ADDING the part of jet fighters so they have an advantage by a factor of 1 in both cases.

uh yeah but your post actually referenced rocket attacks which do not appear in AAE, verbatim or otherwise, hence my confusion

Here’s some rules I want to try out for adding Italy:

-As everyone said, Italy gets 8 IPC, all units in those territories are Italian

-Germany gets an industrial complex in France

-Capital rules no longer apply.  Instead, capturing all of a nation’s home industrial complexes counts as capturing that nation’s “capital”.

This might hurt Germany too bad though, so I’m thinking about giving Germany 1 free sub/turn as long as Berlin is Axis controlled.

Thats right. To me, the multiple collect income causes inflation.
Yes collecting income before combat does stop this.

Regarding the essay on a pad that can be reduced. For example in AARHE the Axis/Allies sequence makes. Its not 4 turns between Russia 1 and Russia 2. So you don’t have to hire an accountant to keep track of things even if we collect income before combat.

Come on guys, A carrier cannot attack!!!

Carrier defend at 3, Move 2, 2 hit, 2 airplanes.
Escort carrier = defend at 2, move 2, 1 hit. 1 airplane.
