note the dd in sz6 restricts what you can do with those tps…. they can’t load up the units from japan and do a combat with them, they can’t stay in 6 during combat and then be moved or used during noncom, and if they move out of sz6 during combat to somewhere else, they can pick up units during combat movement from a diff territory and be used to amphib somewhere else, but they can’t be used in noncom if they moved during combat. lots of little rules but they are important in this situation :) if you’re unsure of something just ask me

No they can’t do anything in noncom in this situation. If they stay they participate in combat, so that rules out noncom. If they move during combat movement then again they already moved so they can’t do anything in noncom.

Right. But they aren’t participating in noncom by being loaded. You can do that even when it’s not the same country. They just sit there. So that’s alright, at least. Does delay me a round, tho.

Nope, you can’t even load. Nothing can be done in noncom with them. Ask on the general discussion and you’ll see. Triplea has it wrong, it’s a known bug.

Like I can load an Anzac Inf onto a USA transport. The state of the transport has nothing to do with its ability to be loaded.

I know I made that same argument a while back when Adam pulled this on me. But we got definitive confirmation from gamer. Best you re-confirm

I just did. But this is kind of a sticky wicket. I have always played it that NCM transport loading is possible before, and this has come up many times in the past. Unless there is clear rules text that I’m missing, this aspect of it seems super cheap.

Lol it is super cheap!!!
But since you didn’t know the rules, I’m willing to allow a slight redo, where you can declare how many of your units you wanted to load onto your tps the previous turn. And if you decide to load them then I’ll likely not bother with the dd trick and instead just add two more art to Moscow

I am perfectly OK with that compromise. I’d be loading as many as possible onto the transports, and if that causes basically any revisions on your part, go for it!

ok then, the dd and inf i purchased in korea should go to moscow as inf + 2 art. move my aa gun to manchuria.
