    I can’t remember if we cna fight again, but if so, I would love to continue.

    If we’ve had equal tries on both sides, I think we might try a psuedo bid for Axis of some sort.

  • That was interesting.  I am going to take a break for now.  I am not sure if I like the balanced mod.  It makes Russia into a juggernaut that rarely can get stopped.

    But you did sea lion!
    Sea lion was steroids for Russia in vanilla, too and in BM Germany gets at least rewarded with another 5 per turn for that:D

    BM does a lot to make Sealion seem viable - I’ve gone for it myself several times.  I’ve even seen the Axis win with it, I think, but overall it seems as much of a trap as it ever was.


  • Sea Lion almost paid off.  If I could have sunk the Allied fleet off of Gibraltar, it was game over.  Without Sea Lion, it is still almost impossible for Germany to capture Moscow.  The extra couple of troops a round makes a big difference.  Normally the UK needs a large number of planes to prevent capture.  Now just a few planes is more than enough to tip the balance.

    Anyway, I need a break since this game requires so many hours of intricate moves to prepare for a couple game-deciding battles.
