Great work - Admiral Nelson has just won the Battle of the Nile!

I can’t get my old computer to boot at the moment and I haven’t figured out the map bug yet that is stopping me from opening the 1.8 file yet.

Jamie - you can have both 1.8 and 1.9 running at the same time, as I do. So I play every game in whichever version it was begun with. No problems.

A friend suggested the old machine may just need a new CMOS battery, so I ordered one of those and will see if that fixes the older box.

Nope, the new battery didn’t fix it.  I’m stuck at the moment, do we want to start a new round as 1.9 or can someone update the game file to 1.9?

Happy to start another fresh game with the new AAA.

I am very confused as to what the problem is. But then no doubt I would be equally confused if I had the problem myself! :roll:

Anyway - happy to start again in 1.9 if that is the only way Jamie can play - even though that means forgoing the pleasure of taking Istanbul! :cry:
