Fantastic.
I like how HG Wells was not bothered what happened to his soldiers. How very WW1General of him!
Well Done Leicester!

Who the hell are the Raptors? What on earth is The Stanley Cup?
Us Brits are still celebrating Leicester winning the Premiership. Now there’s an achievement to be proud of - especially those who support the team and live in the city.
My wife is a Leicester girl, but hates football. Nevertheless her family have abandoned sanity for the duration.
The little club, the underdog, can still surpass the clubs with all the money. On occasion. Well done Leicester!
If anyone would like a cricket update then do let me know……? Anyone?

Cricket? You need to stay in more, PP.
Fantastic, Leicester winning though. Agree on that.
You will be telling me, you are watching the Euros next. -

Do you mean Eurovision witt (with a small w)? I do have a friend that has people round to watch it every year. We have so far always managed to find sufficient excuse to be elsewhere!
-
Certainly not! I meant the bloody football competition. I am Italian, not… I am not sure what the people who watch that are. Aliens, perhaps.
-
Funny - I felt sure that you would be a Eurovision fan …… :-D
-
I can’t speak for all Brits, I know West Ham’s owner and fans are grumpy that Leicester stole their small-team thunder and overshadowed their good season. And there is no consolation for Tottenham when they could only muster a third place finish in a year when all the titans (Arsenal, Chelsea and the Manchester clubs) struggled.

Wxxker!
-
Truly a funny season, General Veers.
-
Are you a Brit then GV?
Actually I am a West Ham fan, albeit not much of one, but am pleased to celebrate Leicester’s amazing success. They didn’t just win - they smashed it!
-
I’m an Yankee Manchester United supporter; that crushing loss at Boleyn Ground was the final nail in Louis van Gaal’s coffin, even after a miraculous FA win.
But I’m glad an upstart like Leicester won the title over the likes of Chelsea or Manchester City. Will they sell Vardy or keep the team together for a run in Europe? I look forward to Jose Mourinho’s first match coming in the Community Shield against the Foxes.
-
Will Jose prove “special” at ManU then?
His record is incredible, but I have never been convinced by him and feel that my doubts have been substantiated by his latest run of mishaps at Chelsea. Perhaps those will tone down his god complex?!
-
I hate him.
Am annoyed Man.U. had to hire the expensive p***k. -
@wittmann:
Wxxker!
Was that you remembering what they call people who watch Eurovision?
No wonder I was mislead!
