New naval base defence ability

Fighters should not have the same ability to inflict damage to ground and naval targets as a strat bomber or tac bomber, IMO

It wasn’t a “contest” of any kind.

I simply don’t see that this rule is necesary, especially with the new units now being produced.

Subs carry 8 torpedeos and destroyers carry 9 depth charges. Subs can fire 2 torpedeos and destroyers can fire 3 depth charges a turn. Sub attack at 5, defend at 4. Destroyer attack and defend at 4. Subs can be submerged when firing. This is using a 12 sided die.

No not at all. Never felt that even once.

Just had to clarify the rules so when you play it’s done correctly.

cruisers cant get too cheap, or powers that dont deserve them will get to buy them, like Germany, ANZAC, and Italy. Sure they can buy some, and use the unit, but its expensive now for a reason, so they dont buy a gazzilon.

Boat prices have to be high, because only wealthy powers deserve big fleets.

I like the original idea.  However, I’d also raise the price of the Industrial Complex to 18 IPC. Maybe even as much as 20 IPC.  You’ll recoup that over the next few rounds from increased income from the territory, and you are, in effect, increasing the power of that Industrial Complex by a factorial.  Instead of 2 tanks, you can put out 3 tanks.  Instead of 3 infantry, you can put out 3 infantry and a fighter.  Etc.

And yes, this will most likely help Japan way more then any other nation.  Though, the S. African IC will be a lot more powerful now, if you go that route. mwuhahahaha
