Pretty happy with that decision. The fleet was dead anyway. Took down some of the Luftwaffe as well as the Kriegsmarine.
Battle calc gave me a decent chance of winning that battle with the scramble. Was worth the gamble because I didn’t need those fighters much anyway.

It is tough to recover after losing Egypt early.
I thought about conceding in the first turn, but decided to play it out.
