How to Program new rules into Triple A

I’d like to see your modified set up for Global 41.  My thoughts on your rules:

1. I like the multi turn build for capital ships.  Two turns seems right.  I know in HGB’s Global war it takes 4 turns, which seems way to long.

2. Would be fun to try, however if Japan sets up that strategy correctly they could gobble up China/Russia even faster.  If I’m playing the Axis, then I’m good to try that.

3. Don’t like the idea of taking a strat bomber out of play to drop a unit that attacks @ 1.  Using a transport plane or a special infantry unit that represents the paratrooper & transport would be a better way to go.

4. We actually use that as a research mod.  I guess we could just incorporate that for all tactical bombers.

Because the western Allies can more easily project power and gang up against Japan or Germany, while the axis are too far apart to help each other. Italy is really not much help. They can pile up in Spain and really easily make that a base to attack France, or even do a 2 to 1 in France. Go play it and find out. I did a few times over the years.

as a guest for a while and finally got around to registering last night.  I live near Syracuse
NY and we have quite a few gamers within our radius with a strong center at a hometown comic/boardgame store.  Of course “real” life limits time I can spend on my hobby which is
one reason why it took me so long to register; but you have to keep a healthy balance.
I have probably over 50 games of various kinds in my collection but A&A 1940, War of the
Ring and the various Catan scenarios are my favorites.

In general I favour unlimited free rail movement during non-combat, which would make the TSR irrelevant for this.
It’s more a case of keeping the line open to gain western aid in a similar way as the Burma Road. Maybe the line allows the west to pay for upgrades of Russian infantry to mech infantry, which was one of the main benefits of the program.

I think you got some thing for artillery lately. I don’t see any need for changes or modifications except perhaps on first round if they roll a one they can choose the target, but thats it.

The only other option would require an actual piece and including self propelled artillery which is a gun on a tank chasis ( and move 2)

2- On the rules I found this one “You do not collect any IPC during setup.” so on the first turn no one can buy right? It seems impossible, we try to play a game in this way but there weren’t anough troops on the board for conduct any combat… probably I don’t get the rule, someone can explain it to me?

3- On the URRS special turn the Russian can collect ipc, buy units, develop weapons and diplomacy or they can only move troops and attcka?

Hi Lelouch I just stumbled across these rules today, and I believe in the first turn only Russia moves, and does not collect any income and builds no units. Then, every successive round all nations collect income at the beginning of their turn* and so every nation also builds units starting from that turn.

this is different from standard A&A where income is collected on the end of each turn. Thus also here, at the setup all nations start with 0 IPCs on their accounts.

Im not sure what these are. Are they new NA’s for revised? or a new list of items that you get as a tech roll? …
