I just don’t know the order of loss in carolines. The important thing is you followed the standard order of loss I think, first the double wounded units, then the subs, destroyers, finish the carriers, tactical bombers, cruisers and at last fighters.

Initially I did try to protect sufficient US carriers for some of my planes to land, as at that point I thought I would win the battle with a considerable fleet remaining. Clearly I should have been less cocky!

Ha! I did e-mail you, but got the wrong triple a opponent’s -mail address. He replied very seriously and I fought he battle according to his casualty guidance! Oh well - it seems to have worked well for you! I am not sure he has realised yet it was not his battle!
