Hey, i just noticed with your strategic bombing of London, you used 4 tac bombers as a meat shield, and then assigned the 5th AA shot to one of the tac bombes as a casualty. This is not legal (see game notes for both the mod and standard G40). Each facility fires its AA guns separately at the planes that are attacking it, so attacker cannot “choose” casualties. Its a player enforced rule: first AA shots go to Tac bombers. Last AA shots go to strategic bombers.
So actually it is your strategic bomber that got shot down by my AA hit, not a tac bomber. I have no problem giving you the higher roll (8 damage) for the factory hit. But a bomber’s gotta die, and factory damage gotta be edited down.

So where in the notes does it say that? I believe you, but I’m a bit confused, all I could find was…
“During an SBR, AA fire and casualty selection should be done on a per-facility-being-attacked basis.”
When I went, I chose where the strat bombers are going first and then where the tact bombers are going, which to me says the the first two dice would go to the strat bombers?

The language you quoted is it. Its per facility–a player enforced rule. You can’t throw a ton of tac bombers/strat bombers at multiple facilities, and then choose AA casualties at will. Its broken down by facility.
as for the order of the AA rolls, the custom (as far as i know) is tac bombers get hit first. But you could be right. I’ll inquire with Germaman, who knows about these things.
Also, Hunan and Anwe need to have land units in em if you want to prevent gorillas from spawning. Care to edit?

I love the sportsmanship and giving each other the benefit of the doubt.
The problem is Triple A.
Triple A rolls all the AA dice together when it should not. One way some players handle this is by rolling the AA on the forum, outside of Triple A.You have to determine whether the AA fire was from the complex (which can only hit strat bombers) or from the base. It looks like Talleyrand sent 4 tacs at a base and 2 strats at the complex.
I don’t expect you to agree which AA dice were from which complex. I will roll a die to determine whether a strat bomber or a tac bomber was hit, that is, whether the hit came from the base or the complex.
A 1-4 result from this die roll means a tac was hit, the way Talleyrand took it. A 5-6 result means a strat bomber was hit, and since the strats rolled a 5 and a 6 and got 7 and 8 damage, it doesn’t make much difference whether you remove 7 damage or 8 (in the event I roll a 5 or a 6 and a strat is downed instead of a tac) and Kid has already offered to remove the 7 and allow the 8

In the future, you both will want to specify which AA is firing at which planes before rolling it, because Triple A does not handle it properly when there are mixed bombing runs like this -
