I find the scramble kind of conservative as it surely take off pressure from Germany (especially as they are down 6? air already) as they don’t have to worry about air striking 97. However without a sub in 98 the Italians have solid odds to clean 97, but with scramble there is no doubt the Germans don’t have work with it.

I totally agree it is the correct move, especially with so much German air gone, but I has hoping he’d be overly cautious.
