whoops, China somehow got out of control there… but I mean it is damn hard to play against your allies Gamer, even if the rules were balanced. Anyway, the balanced mod is fun. Nations that often have very limited options in the standard bid game (Italy, Russia, China) have here actually lot of fun. Good thing is the mod is getting played massively now, so the balance can be tweaked.

One of the things I love about Allies in this version is the USA can air strike Japan units in China and every hit makes a Chinaman pop up…. Though I don’t think I’ve even pulled that off yet. Man, just imagine some US bombers and fighters in East Asia… havoc

Yes, I’ve used that tactic (and had it used on me) in a few games. Is fun. Creates a new “Flying Tigers” dynamic. Its not something I would go out of my way to do, but if you happen to have some US air withiin striking distance, and an opportunity presents itself to really help China, then absolutely.
