VASSAL: Play A&A Minis here?

Use a lot of the same units.  Whenever I play, I give one player like 10 shermans if he is the us.  or 10 panzer IVs if he is germany.  It helps because you have less cards to look at for the movements and attacks.  If you cut out air, that shortens it too.

I see your point too,
but damn that’s a really cool feature that gives AT guns a real purpose in this game.

What kind of playing surface is this played on?  Is it very large hexes or does speed 2 mean a measurement like inches?

I’ve ordered a case to start with.

The maps use staggered square grids (effectively hexes).

thats a sweet deal, a store around here had a buy one get one half off deal, but they didnt say the 1/2 off one had to be equal or leser in value, so i bout 1 booster pack and got the starter set 1/2 off, i ended up doing that 13 times. i have more dice than i know what to do with!

In Toronto, ON, tournament games are played at 6:00 pm on thursdays at the Gamezclub (Coxwell & O’Conner)

As well, there’s usually a good number of players there on Saturday, and often Sunday.
