Thanks @VictoryFirst , it’s our loss that we can’t play with you for awhile.
Thanks for the go ahead on the G40, and don’t worry about the tournament because the other guys were cool
I wish the best to you, and will be great when you come back
Narushima has conceded in our Napoleon game. I was England and the Coalition.
You were both? ;)

Napoleonic Empires
Balladeer [Sides: (even is Coalition, odd is Carolingians)] vs captain walker Rolling 1d20:
(20)
If that was a vorpal weapon, someone just lost a limb…. :-D
Been a while since I heard that line.
When you played, what was your usual Alignment? I was LE or NE.
If that was a vorpal weapon, someone just lost a limb…. :-D
I had to google that, as I’m not a D&D player, but as you were rolling… Should be you? ;-)
No, Balladeer. A one was always a miss, whatever your to hit bonuses and a 20 was always a hit, whatever your negative factors. I thought a roll of 20 on a Vorpal weapon,
Meant the victim lost his head. Not a limb. But was 20 plus years ago now.

Google agrees with you: the victim loses his head :)

But what if your opponent doesn’t have a “head”?? :-D
But yes, even in the old days it will sever the neck/head of its opponent (provided it has one). “The DM will note that there are many creatures that cannot suffer decapitation due to lack or mutability of form. There are also certain creatures that may have heads but will not necessarily be killed by decapitation (among these are dopplegangers, elementals, and golems).” – Advanced D&D Dungeon Master’s Guide (1979)
My best characters were of the Ranger type, so a “good” alignment was required for them – however, I tended toward the “chaotic” side of good. :)
Now that I’m less young and idealistic, I think I would tend toward true neutral and become a Druid. Heck, maybe I can still do that in real life…
I knew it! I hated Rangers and Druids most of all. I was a nasty 1/2 Orc Assassin or Human Cleric. (As a good Catholic, being a devil worshipping, undead controlling, money grabbing, human sacrificing, gold greedy, man of the cloth, came naturally.)
ACGTO TAW DizzKneeLand33 (Anti-Romans) v Entek (Romans)
DizzKneeLand33 wins.
