    Allright, so now it’s my turn to play it seems. What’s the idea (I don’t know what you did last game), just play a first turn and see whether things work out, or make a draft, discuss and then move/post?

    Since it’s my first game we might be best off with some discussion about the move ;-)

    Move East with your French based troops, build in Paris to counter any English landing.
    Take Alex with your ships.
    Ensure your Channel fleet can’t be sunk by England. Block if necessary.
    The Red General is a mobile factory. You must have owned the territory in which he ends his turn, if you want to build there It cannot attack or defend. If in a territory with a Factory, it does not add to the build, so move it out of the capital.
    You can build on a Factory (Paris) as many units as a territory is worth.
    Ships can be tricky, so learn their capabilities. Battleships are two hit units, but do not ever repair.

    We are two sides and we will ask our allies for help from time to time. You are with PP, Degrasse and Me. You will probably need to communicate lots with Degrasse, as Spain. Less with the Othomans (except in the Med) and just leave me (Sweden) to wither and die. I am too far away for anyone to help.
