Any advice on how to d/l the saves, keep getting error
Okay, so I’m not the only one having this problem now. Yeah. All my games are now on hold because of this issue. What is going on? How to fix it? I’ve tried everything. Start new game. Post old saves that worked. Had correct settings for play.

For now I’d say have your opponent email you the save game file. Not sure what the issue is with saved games specifically, but if you get me some more details, I’ll look into it. Might be something Djensen has to change on the admin side, might just be an error in general.

To my surprise, I received this PM from Dave Jensen today. I immediately responded with a $50 support payment. I haven’t supported for the past couple years because I didn’t know if there was a need.
If you get hours and hours of enjoyment from A&A.org and appreciate it when the site works well and hate it when it doesn’t, I think you should send in support. Just look at the box to the right. As Dave said, even $10 would go a long way. As you’ve seen, you get a cool tank badge out of the deal, and the badge stays with you for years.
A single decent, recent video game costs $50 and many of you are like me and get way more enjoyment and satisfaction out of this site than many of the other games you’ve purchased before.

just a heads up, i noticed in one of my games that i was unable to retreat when attacking the strict neutrals. this is just like that naval-retreat bug, but on a land battle instead. i don’t remember the specifics but it happened a few times actually in my game against ghost.
keep an eye out for it….
i also noticed triplea doesn’t allow subs to pass through an enemy ca (no enemy dd present) to attack a target during the combat move phase. my understanding is that this is a bug, right?

Yes, subs should be able to combat move to the other side of a cruiser. Did you try control clicking?
No I didn’t think to try control clicking
I just wonder if that will work because pretty often, I have to manually tell Triple A with control click to let me make a legal move that it doesn’t automatically recognize…… as many games as you’ve played you probably know what I’m talking about

Yeah. It’s like the season in any sport I’m familiar with.
We’re used to a 4 game delay for fixed ranking, too, so that’s a change. It’ll settle down.
There were some upward “avalanche effects” recently. It’s more volatile toward the beginning of the year than toward the end, of course. You all need to take down the guys who are high, and those who are temporarily low need to go out there and get some wins!
Check your points and make sure they’re accurate! Sometimes I’m in the middle of recording results and I get interrupted! And check the points of your rivals!!
happened to me again. i attacked iraq with russia and there was no way to retreat (i wasn’t looking to retreat tho so i was ok in this case):
