i dont know what is going on. i did the chinese turn but seems like i am unable to post. i attack japan with thre inf and a fighter. loss one on each side
then during americas turn i must somehow not selected the scramble. i did not see any other option than reroll. but in any case my subs hit twice in both scenarios
i also rolled for the bomber/dest in first scenario. no need to reroll that in my opinion. if you are ok with that i will edit in my bomber

I have issues with your USA turn. First that I would not have lost a dd before a fighter in SZ 6 while you still had a submarine left. The 2nd is why does the turn you posted show my DD hitting but you editing your USA bomber back on to UK? You don’t get to roll a battle twice and pick which outcome you like best.

Then to your issues. I did not see the need to reroll the bomber combat from the original turn. The SZ 6 battled had to be rerolled because your scramble was not selected. I believe the bomber combat was done before the sz 6 battle. But in any case loosing the bomber is no big deal if you think this is the way to go. I am fine with that, but I disagree with the statement that I roll twice and pick the best outcome. I have played with open cards and told you what is going on.
Then to the sz 6 battle. I think this is a little more tricky. I ask you for scramble and tokens. You answer that and if you wanted a spesific OOL you could have indicated that. In any case I pick what I think makes the most sense for you in the given situation. You have a carrier, a destroyer and 3 fighters. Total defending value of 16 so you easily score 3 hits in round 1, killing all my subs. When you only happen to score 2 hits I understand your frustration. But if you want to keep your destroyer then you will have to loose a fighter to my third hit
If you won’t accept the way the slection is done. We can reroll, but then I will insist that round 1 stands. I score 3 hits and you score 2 hits. You are left with 2 fighters and a destroyer. I have a sub, 2 fighers and a bomber. I don’t think this is a better battle for you than the actual battle fought. But in any case this can be resolved by forum dice. Let me know what you like to do!

I will take the bomber out. I can be wrong here. Please remove the bomber. I will also be carefull with giving you OOL in all future battles

Well I’d rather not cheat you out of your bomber either, I’m just very confused about what happened.
Ok. So what happened was this:
1. I declared all battles for USA
2. I roll the bomber combat, 1 hit for USA, 0 for germany
3. I start sz 6, but realize the scramble was not selected
4. I start over again
5. I believe at this point only sz 6 need to be rerolled
6. However, for whatever reason I rolled the bomber combat over again and now both hits.
7. I understand that this can come across as picking the best out of two.
8. It seems like you are fair with the sz6, and when I look back at what happened it is reasonable to take off the bomber.

Ok. I think my previous post describe how I look at the situations. I understand it is possible to look differently at this and in any situation it is desirable to avoid what happened during USA turn, both for the attacker but also from the defender point of view. Now I am “giving” you the option to remove the bomber or not. I think the most fair thing is to have you make the call.
