    Well that was interesting.  I had no business winning that.  We both had a great round 1 though.  Wish I would of changed some of my other attacks and purchases since I had no confidence in winning Egypt.  Oh well guess you always have to plan for the best possible outcome.  I was fully prepared to surrender after this turn but now I have to play it out somewhat.  MARTI is a real jerk sometimes! :wink: The battle rages on!!!

    Well I think thats it.  The Green machine is just too unstoppable.  Great game sir!  I had a blast.  I could of maybe changed the outcome of my next turn somewhat if I had properly prepared for the Egypt take but I never thought I’d win it.  I learned so much.  You are a great player and a class act.  Good luck in the next round!  I’ll be rooting for you.  If you dont mind I have a couple questions for you.

    1. Where you always preparing for the neutral crush or did it just work out that way?

    2. When I lost my german navy did that allow you to be more aggressive on the european front?

    3. What was more dangerous to you, Japan staying in the pacific or when they pushed west towards the middle east?

    4. Any other comments about my play good or bad I’m all ears.

    Thx for the game, Majikforce! Was a good one, you gave it everything, and I acknowledge that I had a lot of luck in quite a few of those smaller Asian land battles, playing an important role there. I think it could have gone the other way in Asia relatively easy with more normal die for you.

    Wish I were that great, but there are players out there who eat me for breakfast :)

    About Egypt, I didnt mean that you just got lucky, you had to attack at that stage, and one in four is nothing I can really complain about when you win. You would not attack in a normal situation, so if I give you this “big” a chance, its my own fault.

    Hm, neutral crush, I needed Spain as a base, cant say I plan for that in every Ally game. One probably should? I think it just happened that I had a chance on Turkey at the same time.

    As for Japan, I was sort of glad when you went west with the navy. It was going to be trapped, eventually. I dont know the right answer, but I would probably have stayed and try as much interruption as possible. The German navy, cant remember now but you maybe could have blocked me longer from raching Denmark and Norway? Where did I defeat it, after taking Denmark? That was free reign, after that.

    Without looking at history, I really cant say where you lost the game, I was totally misjudging Moscow and was more than surprised that I lost it so quickly. My failed attempt on Novgorod was key in that, was too stingy with the inf. I never felt like cruising to victory. But I also never felt mortally threatend in Europe, and with the game progressing you had many spots to cover. Maybe you should have invested more in defending mainland Europe and in the Japanese fleet.

    One thing the game proved yet another time is that I lack killer instinct, I tend to play for gradual world dominance, I like long games, but having an eye for closing the deal quickly…not so much.

    In the end, the most important thing was likely that I had the good roll when I needed it to prevent the German invasion of London.
