The reason I moved my German cruiser back to my 9 TTs was that UK actually could do a nasty trick of building a carrier into SZ110 then … bomber escorted with a fighter would try to bomb W Germany airfield… unless I got 2 hits from my interceptors or airfield AA shoot down your bomber the airfield would get disabled… then French fighter off London could massacre my 9 defenseless TTs… you could still attempt it even against my cruiser… you would get 35% chance to actually kill all 9 TTs… pretty nasty.
Maybe we shall consider restoring the original order as Italy, Anzac, French. The order there has some subtle but often dramatic effects. order of Japan vs. Russia I don’t think influences anything.

I looked at many possibilities. was going to buy 5 Subs fro the Channel, but your Super Subs would have wasted them. Still think Germany does not need that bonus. I also think Russia will not be as strong as you think without the Lend Lease and Iraq’s money. Germany has 90 to spend, now that the UK got its NO. Sealion is still too viable, I think. We shall see. I think it is obvious that you are a better player, so perhaps I am not the best opponent fro you. I am happy to play more, as I am enjoying thr change, but realise you need to do most of the intelligent reasoning.

well, I think it would be good to see that Axis can win in this situation… I would say you bit under-defended London in UK1 and Allies shall pay for it. I don’t like that in top play, Sea Lion is so rarely happening… it is very risky business for Axis, Japan has to slow down in Pacific to give Germany time, then it can still go badly in many steps, Italian bomber gets shot down by AA, or Germany loses too much air or even fails to capture London. If UK wants to prevent Sea Lion after that pro-Sea Lion G1 buy I believe UK shall be forced to buy defensively for London (6 inf + fighter) or even 9-10 inf…
I also still like the German super subs there… but we can switch sides for next game(s) and if we will still see that Axis are too strong we can of course remove it. But in my school of thought in OOB rules I rarely invest any German money into navy… even that Sea-Lion feint buy in G1 is often ignored by London… in my German school, whatever money I put into navy are missing against Moscow… and those money in the sea do not bring any VC for Euro-Axis… it is just a question of time until UK/US overproduce Germany in Atlantic and either trash German fleet or force it to rot in Baltic. So by giving UK +5 NO for subs-free Atlantic and by giving Germany super-sub tech I want to motivate Germany to actually invest some money into the navy as I said in my games Germany tends to invest in land armies only, ignoring Atlantic and just clear any allied landings with mechs and bombers.

I was going to block Syria with the Frog DDs, but hot greedy and tried to kill the one in 95. Failed, so left it with the 98 fleet.

I am going to be a bit risky here… sending all that can reach to London (via SZ110)… except cruiser, carrier, fighter, tac and 2 subs are securing the landing TTs. You have 12% to break the landing if you scramble 3 fighters… I am counting here on my 88%. If you would get your 12% result there it is pretty much game over for Axis… BUT if your 12% scramble gamble would fail, and I would kill your fighters during landing then London would get smashed… so I am counting on the fact that you would not like to take 88% risk of getting trashed in London…
So the question for you, do you scramble off London?
