The best thing about the fighters is the gear. I wish they all had them. The Japanese tacs look bad ass sitting on the board with the nose up.

kyrial, Not much on posting jpeg knowhow so you can either advise me on that or give me you email. The bottom of my copy is pretty much perfect. I can take some shots with a digital camera and you can whatever detail you’d like.

Africa will provide about 3X the ipcs each turn that India will.

And don’t forget that the African Ipcs are most likely to be German rather than Japanese. It makes a big difference to have Germany at 30-33 as opposed to 39-42. 3ipcs(India) makes little to no difference to the Japanese in the grand scheme of things. I see big problems with a Japan first strategy primary among these are that Germany can get too big and walk through Ukr, Cauc and eventually take Karelia. If there are no masses of Allied troops preparing to take WEuro/FinNor then the Allies are in big trouble even if the push against Japan is succeeding.

I would, but i lose track. I’m guessing i’d have had anywhere in the 60’s-70’s in Karelia for inf.

Once in the New Game menu, instead of clicking Begin, click on Options, then Edit Unit is directly above your choice of buttons for that menu.

I think the 1 defense on the bombers represents the machine gun cockpits on the bombers themselves. Not fighter protection.

A&A is not base awhole lot on combat realism.

A attacking bomber on a defending fighter, they both have an hit value of 4.
I have a hard time picturing this in real life, but thats not a big concern because its just a game.
