Yes to all your questions.
When Germany activates Finland (3 icps), Hungary (3 icps), Bulgaria (4 icps) and Romania (6 icps) Germany adds these amounts (16 icps) to there income total. Also each one of these pro-axis neutrals collects the same amount for there own income.
The pro-axis minors can buy each turn and place in there territories only. Finland only in Capital.
I actually had different colors for all pro neutrals in game. With Pro-axis neutrals for thee above 4 with different color armies you can see what the Germans are buying and not getting confused if you make them all German looking pieces. Keeps the buyer honest or others can see the buy.

The buy most times in game per turn is Finland 1 Inf, Hungary 1 Inf, Bulgaria 1 Art, and Romania 1 Tank or sometimes 2 Inf.

Germany also likes to buy a Major factory in Romania to get a bunch of Inf for fodder quicker to the front or Mechs, Art for blitzing or a stack of tanks to run down to Leningrad or push into Stalingrad or a naval base in Romania and if Russia income allows them to go to war against Germany turn 4.

Good question, and I think a better intepretation of the rule is that the Spanish Civil War ends at this point, there is no �option� to claim as the word �may� seems to indicate.

Example: The Republican intentionally make suicide attack to lose all units before the German attack on Russia and theirs aligning of Nationalists and Republicans. So Spain become Nationalists and they will Align with Germany at the
end of combat phase if the Axis have possession of either London or both Gibraltar and the Suez Canal. One strategy I have seen is the Germans stall the war out so that both sides Align and as soon s they do the Germans whack Gibraltar from Spain.   Certainly viable although later in the game Spain is the first place hit by the US or Britain.

Hey Bill,

How did it go with your Commandoes? Specifically the fact that they can “glide” behind enemy lines and sabatoge without engaging in combat? I havn’t tested it out yet, personally.
Does that make them too powerful? Do you roll for them to damage factories? 1D6?

It went well. they played a role by hitting a factory in europe and one actually on mainline Japan. The japanese player actually missed him slowly coming up from India by way of a sea route. Once they hit a location, they tend to die as the player has to address them but, the distraction is worth it.

Changes i will be making will be that once they make a strike on a facility it will be only 1 point of damage regardless of how successful the role was.

Hmm, interesting interesting.
I could see that being a problem. Did they roll a six sided dice for damage? Did they roll high both times?
I’ve set mine up to roll a D6 dice and rolling a 6 eliminates them without damage and a 1 let’s them make a move after sabotage.

I would wait until HBG’s newest map comes out.  It’s far more aesthetically pleasing than the current version, and the rules will also be more encompassing.  It’s the 1936 map as far as I know name-wise.  They might call it something else when they release it.  I will mention too though that you might wait for a little while if you go for that one, because progress on development is still on-going.

Koba, I think your right. I think they will start with the map and rules, and then move forward from there. :-)

I bought just the map 2 weeks ago… IT IS HUGE!!! i love it…  I have 5 sets of A&A and have been playing since the first version.  I don’t have the set to play global war but I just use all the pieces I have from all my sets I already own.    I have been playing a cold war mod too on the same board.  USSR and china VS USA Nato and UK.  Yes the games take a long time and it can be hard to find people to play but i love it and have a great time playing.  It makes the cardboard things that you get with the standard game look like garbage. Ill never play A&A on any other board…  If you need special units i just use a can of Montana hardcore to spray paint it another color.

I do need to produce some UK Infantry markers, i will put that on our list.
island Warfare is delayed but we are looking on the best way to produce these sets with our factory.
We are actually changing the way you can purchase pieces on the site, no more ones or two, there will be a 5 min. on pieces and markers. We have to do this to keep us going.
