So, Dawg, what do you think of my Iceland strategy with the US?  Late fighters from the US can land there in one turn, and a late fighter from there is one turn away from Leningrad.  And from my new factory in East US, a B-29 can get to Leningrad in 1 round.  I figure a couple of fighters a turn and a bomber can really turn the tide in the Atlantic. It will certainly put a naval build out of the question for Germany.

The trade off I see is less money in the Pacific and/or into Africa from South America. I’m not sure what the proper balance is, but I like the option. Certainly more effective than letting France get it.

I have seen Italy get big in some games, and this wouldn’t help at all, but I think positive over all.  Germany feeling the pressure yet?  8-)
