You are really hard on the Italians, man. And if I recall correctly, you have personal ties to the Italians and British, so this has been very interesting
It is the only way I play the Allies. Perhaps is wrong, as I can’t win with the Allies any more (except T4 opposition).
I was born in Florence , to an Italian father. Mum is English. Met him while travelling with other school teachers. They were married there in 68 and moved to England in 69. My brother was born near Heathrow. I have 3 uncles and 7 cousins in Florence ( and English cousins too).

No, it generally is a sound strategy to get on the Italians and stay on them
I never rely on them getting big and normally concede Egypt and the middle east in the early going. I am more concerned with not letting the Allies get a major beachhead on the European mainland and that works for me

Once I have subs in the Med, I move into the Channel. Did not happen in our game.
I like the French and ANZAC infantry attacks - I mean, I understand trying them. Fortunately for me they didn’t work
Was only France. Did not bother going Anzac: one one against two threes.
Egypt is uours. Could not prevent it, once both uour Tanks survived. (I suppose you would have lost the Bomber as a second casualty, had I hit twice.)I considered sending the UK Tac too, but seemed like too much of a gift. At least you have to send most of the Germans to secure Egypt. Maybe Russia can push West a bit….
Have never had so little income at this stage of a game.
