It is the over generous NOs that make it easier for the Axis. That and the 21 starting Air for japan.

Yes, and I think the major in Berlin as well as West Germany, or the Ukraine complex, you can blame them all.  Wouldn’t it be challenging if the Axis had a minor in West Germany?  Or at least take out the Ukraine complex.

And it’s 21 aircraft AFTER Larry shaved about 5? planes from their starting set up.  Seriously, what was he thinking with 1st edition lol.  There was such a huge disparity between the Europe board strength and the Pacific it was completely laughable.  He shaved planes off the Allies in the Pacific also.

Right, though I would certainly have liked to come away with a bomber or two, that hit on the carrier was big and I’m lucky I got it, after it was down to bomber vs. carrier

You are definitely a respectable player, and not a pushover.  It looks like you have the Germans slowed down in Russia, if not pretty much stopped.  Although I haven’t been trying really hard to push through Russia, because I don’t think I need to, you’re doing several things well.

I also do not have a very strong front line with the Japs across Asia.  I almost never prioritize Egypt or India, so you have the bastions there that my opponents always do.  I prioritize fleet and air strength with Japan and Germany more than most

You talk about folding quicker against me than you’re used to, but I can tell you, your position is pretty decent.  It is not unusual at all for me to accept a resignation between round 3 and 5, and there is no way you should even be thinking that way at this point, so keep up the good playing

Yeah, zone 8 is probably gonna hurt pretty bad, but I like the move of hoping for a hit from 2 infantry and losing the plane first.  It’s a veteran move, especially out in the middle of the Pacific - the dice just didn’t cooperate for you.  Though it’s still kind of nice to kill 2 infantry without any losses…

OK, I think they improved the Triple A handling of SBR a bit, but it’s still not right.  It rolled both AA together in India even though I was trying to bomb 2 different facilities.

The first die was a 1, which I would normally think of as the tactical bomber - weakest to strongest, so I removed it.  If you take issue with that, we can roll a die to determine which aircraft was shot down.
