Oops, doing noncom and looking at my notes, saw that I wanted to try sinking a destroyer in the Pacific from Japan. Of course it is unrelated to all my other combat moves - seeing the dice results had no effect on this decision….
Will you allow me to attack a destroyer in the North Pacific now?

Let me explain the edit:
When I built my troops, I saw my factory at 6 dmg and 15 ipc. Â I left it, forgetting that it went down to a minor factory. I then built 3 inf. and 1 tank to put there.
When I realized this, I edited a major factory on. so I could put my troops on. I then edited all that off. then I edited 1 inf. and 1 tank on Russia. the other 2 inf. I used to repair my factory.

But thank you - you’ve been suffocating my Japanese so well all game and I set up this nasty counterstrike only to forget it at the appropriate time since I was focused on all the European stuff -

I’m going to resolve Zone 1 next.
3 subs vs. sub, carrier, transport (and 2 fighters)
Does your submarine submerge, or fight?After zone 1, I will be needing casualty choices for zone 3, although it looks pretty straightforward. Damage carriers, then take the 2 subs (which will most likely be in round 1), then save 1 destroyer until I don’t have any subs, which will probably be gone before it gets down to the cruisers anyway, and take cruisers last. So I guess there probably won’t be a stoppage for that battle as I can probably choose your casualties optimally, but I want to see zone 1 first, so this submerge decision might be the only interruption……

84% battle with average TUV swing of 92, and I got BLASTED with a -81. So the Carolines and now Zone 3 absolutely blew up in my face, and this with a gang up on Japan strategy :-PYou’re going to need another miracle to save London and the game, though, so fortunately I don’t have to throw the game board. :wink:
