Yet another German bomber killed by Russian AA fire!
To add insult to injury, the planned assault on Ukraine was nearly undone when a full air wing of BF109 scheduled to lead the attack was mysteriously held back at airfields in Belo, apparently never receiving the orders to engage. Fortunately the Wehrmacht was able to score a lucky one, to make of for the combat move fiasco.
His failures to the fatherland utterly complete and undeniable, Hermann G�ring has just locked himself in the bathroom and put a Luger in his mouth… Bang!
:-DAfter such a string of terrible defeats in the skies over the Soviet Union, Germany has finally switched gears and invested in a massive armor expansion. Tank columns rolling steadily off the line. One shining ray of hope amidst the otherwise dismal news from the front, the raids on London were rather more successful this round than last.

Don’t you worry about it.Hahah true but bombing in A&A only works from a risk reward if the bombers die at a statistically average rate right now the total is 60 TUV (72 if you count the Kwantung bomber that died to airblitz) vs what like 21 ipcs in damage? A miserable failure, but I’ll own it, as I declined to follow my own advice, clearly outlined in my various “strategies for beginners” thread heheh.
Speaking of failure, Japan suffered another setback, when your Americans in Finland scored a hit vs the Japanese airblitz. German losses are manageable enough, but its these accursed Japanese planners that we will really be our undoing. The Imperial Navy and Imperial Army just can’t see to coordinate a plan of proper attack. The Navy has demanded more fighters, screaming about their brave troops abandoned in the jungles of Sumatra, but these demands were promptly ignored. Instead the Army gets their way, with a wiley Kwang blitz and production expansion in Manchuria, and a proper garrison to “defend” our puppet regime there.

A little problem here. What happened is I rolled for the shore bombardment but nothing came up and I shut down the program just to find out dice verification mail has already arrived. 2 dices been rolled. one is 4, one is 6. Is there any way to figure out which one for battleship and which one for cruiser? Didn’t say in the mail.

Perhaps we could pick up the pace a bit? Dedo and rmorel started last week and they’re already on round 6, bound to jump ahead of us any day now if we keep it this slow and go. I know you like to calc and plan and whatnot, as evidenced by the Anwhei debacle I’ve been facing down hehe, but we’re kind of lagging. I think I’m taking the game rather less seriously, because its taking forever.

:-DThe fighters in Anwhei are already making my head spin as is. I don’t know that I’ve seen an fighter stack that deep in China this late in a game. The Japanese are hopelessly stalled. Serves them right for thinking they could push early. The flying tigers are clearly balking at the Manchuria move.
