Yea, I never said it was a good strategy, but it does give you the option of really decimating the allies early on.

I have actualy played them all.  I would have to say that my favorite is probably revised or Minis, I more regularly play expansions.

Looking at the map and the way the territories are laid out, I think there are some very cool things Russia can do if they are forced to fall back to Cauc and Mos.

I as Russia only send the units east of russia and caucasus on the first turn to asia the rest to concentrate on germany
