I should tell you about a nasty loophole the guys found
I will not pull it on you - it’s not that great anyway, since you don’t have like 4 transports in 36The UK can move a destroyer into your fleet in 36 because they are not at war.
Then ANZAC does an unprovoked declaration of war on Japan.
On J3, you can’t load the units that are in FIC because you have a hostile unit in your zone, and you were at war with the UK before J3, so the exception doesn’t apply (where you can load if YOU just declared war on THEM)Make sense? Like I said, I’m not going to do it to you - would be unsportsmanlike since you’re new to the league.

It’s not always that great. Since the UK is not declaring war, she can’t sucker punch Japan, and also does not collect a 5 IPC NO. The USA can’t go on offense until USA4 because of the unprovoked declaration. And it costs the UK an 8 IPC destroyer. All to keep Japan from taking money islands until a turn later. Like I said, if you had like 4 transports or something, it could be nasty, so I wanted to tip you off to this possibility for future games you have with these sneaky people.

Thanks for the tips Gamerman, and for not doing that exploit to me. I’ve made quite a few novice and amateurish mistakes while playing our round so far. Thanks to Italy, I took back Germany and now Volgograd is on the verge of falling to the advancing german forces. I hope I’m giving you a run for your money and an enjoyable game so far :)

Don’t worry about me, I love playing, especially when it’s a fun game that’s not an elimination game in some playoff or tournament :-P tired of the stress.
It’s hard to re-program, but I strongly recommend you learn to make only combat moves in the combat movement phase and hold off the non-coms until the noncombat movement phase

But yeah, I realized my mistake in letting my guard down in some places. I’m sloppy and it is showing.
